What needed solving
Bolton Council needed a modern digital care records system for their reablement and intermediate care services across 63 beds and 2 sites. The system needed to handle medication management, CQC inspections, GDPR compliance, and support approximately 100 users with 400 admissions per year.
The Solution
How we delivered
We designed ZimCare as a cloud-hosted SaaS platform on .NET 9 and React 18, deployed to Azure UK South for data residency compliance. The system covers 59 essential and 25 desirable requirements including electronic MAR charts, controlled drug dual-signature enforcement, role-based access across 5 permission levels, and read-only CQC inspector access.
